The year was 2222 and God had been very busy taming other planets for years, completely ignoring earth. God's janitor had overslept and stopped paying attention on maintaining the status quo in the human social classes.
People soon realized that it was now possible to switch to any class you liked and switch to whatever profession you liked in life. Nobody was there to stop you. All you had to do was start acting like the other people in that class.
If you wanted to be a painter for example, you'd wake up every day and simply make paintings. If you wanted to be a businessman, you'd start a business and focus your entire life into running it.
If you wanted money in life, you were free to simply take the actions that other rich people take and just like magic, given enough time, it would simply happen!
Plot twist: There was never a janitor.
